Qualifications

• Education equivalent to a high school diploma.
• At least 1 year in a financial institution with mortgage processing preferred.
• Working knowledge of mortgage lending principles and documentation a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process residential mortgage applications from application to closing.
• Collect, review, and verify borrower and third-party documents.
• Keep loans moving by following up for outstanding items.
• Prepare files for underwriting ensuring compliance.
• Calculate ratios, verify AUS findings, and reflect data in Encompass.
• Resolve conditions and coordinate with Underwriting.
• Manage pipeline, deadlines, and communicate status.
• Provide updates to Loan Officers, borrowers, Realtors, and staff.
• Maintain knowledge of Town & Country loan programs and investor requirements.
• Assist with processing procedures and training materials; cross-train as needed.
