Job summary

AmeriHome Mortgage, a Western Alliance Bank company, is hiring a Pricing Analyst in Westlake Village, CA. You will monitor loan pricing for the Correspondent and Retail divisions, execute loans pricing updates, and support the Capital Markets Trading Desk with post-trade adjustments and relocks.

You will analyze market data to optimize pricing and margins and respond to client inquiries in a timely manner. You will also participate in rate sheet maintenance and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Entry level knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending including; sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
• Intermediate experience with SQL, Excel, including ability to summarize data via formulas, lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.
• Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in day to day Lock Desk responsibilities
• Monitor and perform loan level pricing activities for the Correspondent and Retail Divisions
• Make post-trade adjustments including pricing updates, rolls, pair-offs, extensions, and substitutions
• Update, validate, and disseminate daily Best-Efforts pricing
• Perform competitiveness analysis and recommend updates to Best-Efforts pricing to maximize company volume and revenue
• Work with internal and external groups such as client sellers, vendors, product and pricing engines
