Job summary

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, Texas is seeking an Associate in Loan Management & Due Diligence to support the trading desk throughout mortgage bid cycles, including evaluating pools, normalizing loan-level data, and producing bid packets and memoranda.

You will monitor month-over-month portfolio changes, analyze drivers, and deliver monthly P&L, cash flows, and collateral performance analyses across multiple loan portfolios, collaborating with internal teams and external servicers to

Qualifications

Master’s degree with 1 year experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 3 years experience in mortgage cashflow modeling, asset valuation, and data analysis.
Experience building and maintaining cash flow, prepayment, default, and loss-severity models for residential mortgage portfolios, with back-testing.

Responsibilities

Support trading desk through all stages of mortgage bids (NPL/RPL/New Origination).
Evaluate pool and bid data and load loan-level data into internal databases.
Analyze and stratify pools; determine modeling assumptions and run analytics for bid packets.
