Job summary

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, TX seeks an Associate in Loan Management & Due Diligence to support the trading desk through all stages of loan bids and origination.

You will evaluate pool data, normalize loan-level data, run analytics, and prepare bid packets and memoranda for investment committee. The role requires advanced degree in quantitative fields or related, strong mortgage modeling experience, and proficiency with SQL, Python or R to automate processes and generate reports;

Qualifications

• Masters degree or bachelor's with required years of experience as specified in the ad.
• Experience includes executing mortgage cashflow models and explaining drivers of valuations.
• Experience building cash flow, prepayment, default, and loss-severity models for residential mortgage portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Support the trading desk through all stages of NPL/RPL/New Origination bids.
• Normalize and load loan-level data into internal databases; analyze and stratify pools.
• Run analytics and determine modeling assumptions; produce bid packets and memos.
• Monitor month-over-month portfolio changes and identify key drivers.
