Job summary

ALCOVA Mortgage is seeking a Loan Originator/Officer to originate residential and government mortgages while delivering exceptional service. You will educate borrowers, assess eligibility, and guide them through the loan process, building relationships with referral partners to fuel growth.

This field-based role requires travel to client sites, strong sales skills, and the ability to manage a dynamic pipeline. Local market knowledge and NMLS licensing are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year mortgage industry experience.
• Must be licensed as a Loan Officer and have NMLS registration.
• Strong pipeline management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop marketing and sales practices to generate new business.
• Build and manage database of past clients, referral partners, and potential clients.
• Maintain accurate pipeline management and timely follow-up communication.
• Conduct face-to-face sales presentations to individuals and groups.
• Organize and attend broker open houses.
• Educate borrowers on all loan products.
• Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness prior to submittal.
• Partner with processing and closing teams to ensure efficient loan closings.
• Complete company reporting requirements accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Monitor trends and developments impacting the mortgage industry.
