Job summary

ALCOVA Mortgage Loan Officers are experienced mortgage professionals who origin residential and government loans while providing exceptional customer service. You will educate borrowers, assess needs, and guide them through the mortgage process, while building relationships with referral partners to drive business growth.

The role is primarily field-based with local travel, requiring active NMLS licensing and mortgage experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year mortgage industry experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Active LO license and NMLS registration.
• Strong pipeline management and prioritization.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and use marketing and sales practices to generate new business.
• Build and maintain an electronic database of clients and partners.
• Maintain pipeline and timely follow-ups.
• Conduct face-to-face or virtual presentations to clients and groups.
• Attend broker open houses and community events.
• Educate borrowers on loan products and processes.
• Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness before submission.
• Coordinate with processing and closing teams for timely closings.
• Prepare and submit required company reports.
