OUCU Financial is hiring a Mortgage Originator to guide members through the home-financing process from initial conversation to closing. You will build relationships with realtors and builders, explain mortgage options, and provide a supportive, community-focused experience.

Responsibilities include soliciting new business, gathering financial data, submitting loans for underwriting, and managing the pipeline to meet closing dates.

Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage origination or lending in a financial institution.
• Ability to generate leads and close transactions.
• Registration with NMLS or willingness to obtain after employment.

Responsibilities

• Solicits new residential mortgage business from realtors, builders, and connections.
• Meets with applicants to collect data and recommend loan products.
• Submits loans for underwriting and resolves questions during the lending process.
• Monitors mortgage pipeline and ensures timely processing and closings.
