Kastle is building the AI employee for consumer lending in San Francisco. We seek a mortgage originations expert to map end-to-end workflows across origination, processing, and closing, and to define every touchpoint and data move between LOS, POS, and related systems.

You will run QA and error triage, feed structured corrections back to engineering, and build edge‑case datasets to improve AI reliability. Be the domain expert in the room during customer go‑lives on an early, fast‑moving team

Qualifications

• 5+ years in mortgage originations in an operational role.
• Experience with multiple loan types: conforming, jumbo, non-QM, FHA/VA.
• Hands-on with LOS systems (Encompass, Empower) including config and data flow.
• Technical: comfortable with API docs, data schemas, JSON/XML payloads.
• Familiarity with Postman is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Map mortgage originations end to end across all workflows and systems.
• Run QA and error triage; feed corrections to engineering.
• Build edge-case datasets for AI deployment.
• Be the domain expert for engineering, product, deployment, including at customer go-lives.
