Job summary

Texas Dow Employees Credit Union seeks a Manager of Mortgage Origination at the Post Oak Corporate Office. The role directs origination activities, sets production goals and quality standards, and coordinates with Realtors and builders to grow loan volume.

You will coach the origination staff, deploy new lending products and processes, and ensure timely service from origination through closing in partnership with the Mortgage Fulfillment Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years MLO management experience.
• Five years of mortgage lending, real estate, retail sales or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine solutions for complex issues presented by Mortgage Loan Officers.
• Coordinate, develop and manage origination activities, processes, policies and procedures.
• Manage daily production and quality to achieve monthly goals and service levels.
• Participate in deployment of new lending products and processes.
• Lead change within the origination team.
• Coach and motivate origination staff to hit production goals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Realtors, builders and other lines of business.
• Ensure service levels are met with Mortgage Fulfillment Team from origination to closing.
