Job summary

You will review files, manage proceedings with mortgagors, attorneys, and investors, monitor time frames, and follow up on all outstanding requests. The role requires 3+ years of related experience and a high school diploma. Proficiency with MSP/LoanSphere and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3+ years of bankruptcy-related experience.
• Strong knowledge of bankruptcy processes and timelines.
• Experience with GSE/government guidelines is preferred.
• MSP and LoanSphere experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service mortgage accounts in bankruptcy in compliance with laws and guidelines.
• Review files to ensure bankruptcy time frames are met.
• Manage bankruptcy proceedings with mortgagors, attorneys, investors, and trustees.
• Monitor bankruptcy records and system activities throughout the process.
• Follow up on outstanding requests from internal and external partners.
• Audit accounts for expense compliance and proper system entry.
• Research loans with questionable items and ensure proper handling.
• Maintain key controls through exception reporting to minimize risk.
