Job summary

The Federal Savings Bank is seeking an experienced mortgage loan processor to support our Consumer Direct team. This role processes loans after conditional approval, communicates with borrowers to clear conditions, and resubmits to Underwriting.

Preference for candidates in Pacific time, but US applicants encouraged to apply. Evening or weekend hours may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of mortgage processing experience required.
• Experience handling a pipeline of refinance loans.
• Extensive experience processing VA cash-out refinances.
• Knowledge of agency loan programs and investor guidelines.
• Ability to work after-hours during peak periods.
• Strong communication with borrowers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Own loan files from intake to underwriting submission.
• Use Encompass daily to manage loan files.
• Set expectations with all loan parties.
• Review packages for investor guideline compliance.
• Clear conditions and coordinate with Sales, Processing, Underwriting.
• Order third-party items and review title and insurance.
• Maintain compliance and manage pipeline under varying volume levels.
• Meet end-of-month deadlines and participate in training as needed.
