Job summary

Universal Lending Corporation is seeking a Loan Processor in Englewood, Colorado. This role is key to delivering a positive mortgage experience by reviewing and preparing loan files for underwriting. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in mortgage banking and a solid understanding of relevant mortgage guidelines.

The expected base salary is between $60,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience and skillset. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for our employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years mortgage banking experience as a processor or junior processor.
• Must have knowledge of FHA/VA policies.
• Ability to work overtime, when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and prepare complete loan files for Underwriting and Closing.
• Maintain communication with customers throughout the loan process.
• Update loan officer and customers on loan status.

Skills

Mortgage banking experience

Knowledge of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac guidelines

Working knowledge of Encompass or other LOS systems

Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills
