Job summary

National Mortgage Staffing is seeking an experienced Loan Processor in Los Angeles to support its lending team, manage mortgage files, and ensure compliance with privacy and lending regulations. This in-office role requires 5+ years of processing, proficiency with Encompass, and the ability to work in-office with some Saturdays and evenings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mortgage loan processing experience.
• Experience with Encompass and nonprofit lending.
• Knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and privacy requirements.
• Familiarity with down payment assistance programs.
• Spanish language skills preferred.
• In-office in Los Angeles required.
• Ability to work 9:00 AM–6:00 PM with some Saturdays and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Process mortgage loan files through the lending process.
• Review files for lending and privacy compliance.
• Collaborate with Loan Officers and Director of Lending.
• Coordinate with lenders, clients, and staff.
• Support down payment assistance and other programs.
• Maintain accurate loan documentation in Encompass.
• Follow mortgage lending regulations and standards.
• Assist clients referred through internal programs.
