Job summary

Extraco Banks, N.A. is seeking a mortgage team member to assist origination, processing, and underwriting while delivering excellent customer service. You will work with Mortgage Consultants to support the loan process and ensure timely closings.

The role requires 1+ years in mortgage-related work or banking, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and mortgage software. This is a full-time on-site position in Texas.

Qualifications

1+ years of mortgage origination/processing/underwriting or similar experience preferred.
1+ years of banking experience or related field required.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, strong math abilities.

Responsibilities

Understand the mortgage lending process from application to closing, including appraisal and title work.
Proficiently use Byte Enterprise platform and related data tooling.
Maintain attention to detail to meet closing deadlines and conditions.
Communicate with customers, realtors, builders, and title companies to set expectations.
Collaborate with Mortgage Consultants to help increase loan volume in a support role.
Complete compliance training and maintain knowledge of mortgage products.
