Job summary

Southside-Bank in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to support mortgage loan processing from application to underwriting. This full-time clerical role is based at University Center and reports to the Mortgage Operations Manager.

The position requires knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, strong documentation skills, and the ability to handle a large pipeline. Training and growth opportunities are provided in a collaborative bank environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate, GED, or the equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1–3 years direct mortgage processing experience preferred or equivalent mortgage training and banking experience.
• Demonstrated history of handling a large pipeline.
• FHA/VA loan processing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains supporting documentation for credit evaluation and processing including proof of income/assets, credit bureau, appraisal, and title work.
• Enters mortgage application information in loan processing software and ensures full completion.
• Orders third-party services (title, appraisal, insurance, survey, flood, verifications).
• Answers questions from customers and staff about loan products, status, and procedures.
