Southside Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor in Fort Worth, TX to handle mortgage loan applications, coordinate with underwriters, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. The role requires 1–3 years of mortgage processing experience, FHA/VA processing preferred, and a high school diploma or GED.

This full-time, non-exempt position reports to Mortgage Operations Manager and offers benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years mortgage processing experience preferred.
• FHA/VA loan processing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated history of handling a large pipeline.
• Knowledge of state and federal mortgage lending regulations.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and verify income, asset, and other documents; scrub for accuracy.
• Enter mortgage applications into processing software and ensure completeness.
• Order title, appraisal, insurance, and other third-party services.
• Communicate with customers and staff on loan status and requirements.
• Review packages for accuracy before underwriting and closing.
