Job summary

BOT Career Opportunities is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to handle the processing, administering and closing of Mortgage/Real Estate loans. You will verify documentation, manage loan files, and maintain records while presenting a professional image.

Responsibilities include coordinating with underwriters, ensuring timely processing, and complying with BSA/OFAC requirements. The role requires a high school diploma and 2–4 years of experience, and residency within TN/VA/NC/KY footprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two to four years of prior related experience required.
• Reside in the Bank's footprint TN, VA, NC and KY required.

Responsibilities

• Handle the loan pipeline and ensure an efficient and compliant flow throughout the loan process.
• Manage multiple loan files, collect and record customer information, and ensure timely processing of mortgages.
• Stay up to date on agency guidelines, internal underwriting/processing procedures and Company policies.
• Work with Production Sales Team to ensure top-notch internal and external service.
• Acquire the files necessary for property and loan documentation and verify required documents.
• Work with Underwriters on conditions of loans submitted when there are questions.
• Follow up with borrowers and vendors for timely receipt of requested documentation.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and bank policies including BSA and OFAC requirements.
• Uphold the organization’s core values and standards.
