Job summary

Blaze Credit Union in Falcon Heights, MN is seeking a full-time Mortgage Loan Processor to handle first and second mortgage applications from start to close. You will collect documents, prepare disclosures, and coordinate with appraisers, title companies, and lenders to keep files on track.

Responsibilities include underwriting re-submissions, ensuring compliance, and delivering accurate loan packages while promoting Blaze products and maintaining strong member relations. On-site work required.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years of related financial experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of Encompass is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process mortgage loan applications from application to closing.
• Prepare and deliver initial mortgage disclosures within compliance timeline.
• Request and collect required documents from members during the loan process.
• Coordinate with third parties including appraisers, title companies, and agents.
• Pull tax assessed values, order appraisals, and verify insurance.
• Prepare loan documents for underwriting and resubmit as needed.
• Close loans and maintain positive member relationships.
