Dollar Bank is actively seeking a Mortgage Specialist to review correspondent lending loans for accuracy and saleability, ensuring courteous customer service and precise preparation in the origination system for underwriting approval.

The role emphasizes compliance, HMDA data, and proactive communication with correspondents and underwriting to ensure smooth processing in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in mortgage loan processing by a financial institution, mortgage company or mortgage broker.
• Experience with processing mortgage applications for purchase and refinance; familiarity with Fannie Mae documentation and DU.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high paced environment.
• Proficiency with POS loan origination systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review all information provided by the Correspondent for accuracy and completeness and make corrections as needed in the loan origination system.
• Monitor loan for compliance.
• Complete all HMDA data.
• Communicate professionally with all parties involved in the mortgage transaction.
• Coordinate with the Correspondent and underwriters to resolve conditions and finalize the loan.
