Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software program.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Time management and prioritization.
• Education/Experience: Bachelor's or Associate’s degree preferred or commensurate work experience.
• 3+ years of banking experience highly preferred.
• Prior mortgage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Entry of new applicant information into Encompass software.
• Compiling data for underwriter review and borrower qualification.
• Gathering CIP, bank statements, property data, tax information, and credit reports.
• Welcome call to the customer on receipt of new application.
• Create initial loan disclosures in compliance with bank regulations within 48 hours.
• Create statements of denial and counteroffers.
• Pull flood determinations for collateral properties.
• Resolve flood determination issues.
• Provide customer and MLO support throughout loan process.
• Order third-party services (appraisal, title searches, etc.).
• Preliminary review of appraisal, title, and financial information.
• Work with all parties to clear discrepancies or income/value issues.
• Coordinate with title agent to clear title or property survey issues.
• Provide underwriting with necessary conditions to close.
• Review documents for completeness against guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
