Job summary

American Financing in Colorado is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to efficiently process and close residential loans monthly, maintaining a productive pipeline and ensuring timely closings in compliance with regulatory and company standards.

You will train and guide new or underperforming processors on systems, workflows, and best practices, while collaborating with underwriting and closing teams to maximize quality and speed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mortgage lending or related experience.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Willing to work overtime and lift up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure environment for processing loan files.
• Verify credit-related documentation including employment, assets, rental history, and credit reports.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to obtain necessary documentation for loan approval.
• Review documentation and provide conditions for loan approvals in compliance with underwriting guidelines.
• Utilize LOS and AUS for loan tracking and processing.
• Ensure all required disclosures are provided to clients in a timely manner.
• Manage loan pipeline to ensure timely closings and high COE.
