Job summary

CPA-DMV seeks an experienced SBA 7(a) Loan Processor to manage applications from intake through closing and funding. You will collect and verify borrower financials, tax returns, and business records, and coordinate with borrowers, underwriters, lenders, and closing teams.

Candidates should have deep knowledge of SBA lending procedures and SOPs, experience with SBA-approved lenders or brokerages, and the ability to manage multiple loan files independently while maintaining meticulous

Job description

We are seeking an experienced SBA 7(a) Loan Processor with significant hands-on experience processing SBA 7(a) loans from initial application through closing and funding. Preferring mortgage brokerage experience with origination experience a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process SBA 7(a) loan applications from intake to closing.
• Collect, review, and verify borrower financial documents, tax returns, and business records.
• Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and debt service coverage ratios (DSCR).
• Prepare and review SBA loan packages and required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with SBA SOP requirements and lender guidelines.
• Coordinate with borrowers, underwriters, lenders, and closing teams.
• Track loan applications, resolve documentation deficiencies, and ensure timely processing.

Required Qualifications:

• Significant experience processing SBA 7(a) loans underwriting.
• Strong understanding of SBA lending procedures, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with SBA-approved lenders, banks, or loan brokerage firms.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple loan files.

Location Preference:

Candidates located in Washington, DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia (DMV) are preferred but not required. Qualified candidates from other U.S. locations are encouraged to apply.
