Jobot is seeking a Permanent Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team in Cleveland, OH. This onsite role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong customer service and communication skills to manage mortgage files from start to finish.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience handling mortgage loan paperwork, a solid understanding of loan products, and the ability to work under deadlines while maintaining integrity and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review loan applications and supporting docs for accuracy and completeness.

• Prepare and maintain loan files from opening to closing.
• Ensure all loan docs are complete, accurate, and compliant with policy.
• Update data in the processing system as needed.
• Coordinate with the closing department for a smooth close.
• Provide excellent customer service and effective communication with all stakeholders.
• Stay current on mortgage industry trends and regulatory requirements.

Are you passionate about the mortgage industry with a keen eye for detail? We are seeking a Permanent Mortgage Loan Processor to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our operations, requiring a candidate who is detail-oriented, has excellent customer service skills, and possesses strong oral and written communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in handling mortgage loan files and closing paperwork.

Responsibilities

1. Reviewing and verifying loan applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
2. Coordinating with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to obtain additional information and clarification on discrepancies.
3. Preparing and maintaining loan files from opening to closing.
4. Ensuring that all loan documentation is complete, accurate, verified, and complies with company policy.
5. Updating and verifying data into the loan processing system as needed.
6. Coordinating with the closing department to ensure a smooth transition and timely closing.
7. Providing excellent customer service by effectively communicating and cooperating with all internal and external customers.
8. Keeping up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the mortgage industry to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and laws.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Processor or a similar role in the mortgage industry, would be ideal but not required.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of mortgage loan products, loan documents, and closing paperwork, would be ideal but not required.
3. Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.
4. Excellent customer service skills with a proven record of maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
5. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
6. Proficiency in using mortgage loan processing software and other related computer applications.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
8. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with strong decision-making skills.
