Job summary

Regions is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer in Paducah, KY to originate residential mortgage loans through a branch network. You will complete mortgage applications, evaluate requests, maintain contact with borrowers, and structure loans to comply with lending practices and regulations.

This full-time position offers a commission incentive plan. Candidates typically have mortgage lending experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a proven ability to develop external business via referral

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year mortgage lending experience with proven production.
• Experience developing external business via referral partners (realtors, builders, financial planners).

Responsibilities

• Complete mortgage applications for submission to loan processing and underwriting.
• Evaluate loan requests, analyze financial data, and determine qualification of collateral and credit history.
• Maintain contact with loan customers and communicate progress of loans.
• Structure loans to comply with lending practices and regulations.
• Develop marketing plans and contact frequency with customers and partners.
• Answer customer calls and discuss loan products.
• Make sales calls to develop or retain business.
• Cross-sell other bank products.
• Review surveys and appraisals and address issues.
• Participate in networking to promote loan products.
