Job summary

WesBanco, Inc. in Towson, MD is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to originate various mortgage loans and generate bank fee income.

You will build a customer-focused pipeline, pre-qualify purchases, and manage applications from start to close with guidance from senior management. Responsibilities include being the program expert, sourcing customers, disclosing documentation timely, and promoting WesBanco mortgage at branches and in the real estate community.

Qualifications

• Be the content expert on all WesBanco mortgage programs and products.
• Listen to customer needs and align them with appropriate mortgage product.
• Pre-Qualify purchase customers as requested.
• Complete loan applications with accurate information in the Origination System.

Responsibilities

• Disclose and provide required documentation within 3 days of application.
• Deliver a complete application electronically to processing within 3 days; follow with documents within 5 days.
• Promote WesBanco mortgage within the real estate community and at branch events.
• Maintain CORE Sales stage information to show referral progress.
• Cross-sell bank products and services.
• Provide exceptional service to mortgage customers, underwriters, processors and closers.
