IBC Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator in Texas. This in-office role focuses on proactively soliciting new residential mortgage business, leveraging bank referral leads, and selling IBC Mortgage products.

You will build a quality network of referrals to sustain opportunities and collaborate with the IBC Bank Sales Team and Commercial Bankers. You will evaluate loan applications, understand disclosures and pricing, and guide borrowers through the home buying and financing process from

Qualifications

• Understanding of residential mortgage products and regulatory disclosures.
• Takes borrower information and completes the application.
• Analyzes borrower income and debt to pre-qualify.
• Explains closing costs and monthly payments for different products.
• Quotes interest rates and fees.
• Maintains contact with borrowers and Realtors between application and closing.
• Assists borrowers in understanding and clearing credit problems.
• Participates in the loan closing.
