Job summary

Talentify in Glendale, AZ is seeking a mortgage loan originator to originate loans and promote programs within real estate networks. You will grow referral sources and interview buyers, input applications, provide estimates and disclosures, and gather required documents and fees to process loans.

Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, timely processing, and coordinating with underwriting toward a smooth closing.

Qualifications

• Two years of real estate lending experience with at least one year at the loan officer/originator level.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with advanced industry courses in real estate lending.
• Strong selling and communication skills; knowledge of real estate lending laws and programs.
• Ability to develop sources of mortgage loan application business.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans and promote related programs.
• Interview buyers/applicants and input applications, provide estimates and disclosures, and gather required documents and fees.
• Ensure loans are originated, disclosed and/or redirected accurately and timely per regulatory requirements.
• Ensure accurate processing and prepare for submission to underwriting.
• If approved, take steps to ensure a smooth closing; if declined, advise borrower and handle refunds.
