Job summary

Mortgage Company in Katy, Texas seeks motivated Mortgage Loan Originators to support clients in achieving their financial goals. You will provide exceptional service while marketing residential loan products and educating borrowers on the mortgage process.

This role requires a strong background in the mortgage industry, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Competitive compensation includes a minimum wage of $7.25 per hour plus commissions and various company-paid benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4-year college curriculum preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging sales environment.
• MLO approved license in NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide every client the best service in the industry
• Market and solicit residential loan business, ensuring all phases of the loan process are performed in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines
• Advise and educate clients on the home-buying or refinancing process and how to better manage their mortgages
• Own and build your business plan within USA Mortgage with the support of our team

Requirements

• 2 to 4-year college curriculum preferred, or equivalent industry experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging sales environment
• Encompass experience or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of various residential mortgage loan products
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team player
• Passion, great communication skills, self-motivation, positive attitude, and competitive spirit
• MLO approved license in NMLS

Compensation

• State minimum hourly – $7.25 (recoverable)
• Commissions on personal production

Salary Description
