Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Mortgage Lending and Loans, including knowledge of various loan products and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in Loan Origination, with a track record of managing complete loan files from application to closing.
• Understanding of Underwriting principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with underwriting teams.
• Solid foundation in Finance, including the ability to analyze credit, income, assets, and debt-to-income ratios.

Role Description

The Mortgage Loan Originator is a full-time, on-site role based in Dearborn, MI. In this role, the individual will work directly with borrowers to assess financing needs, explain mortgage products, and guide applicants through the loan process from initial inquiry to closing. Daily responsibilities include collecting and reviewing borrower documentation, preparing loan applications, coordinating with underwriting and processing teams, and ensuring all files meet company and regulatory standards. The Mortgage Loan Originator will maintain strong relationships with real estate professionals and referral partners, provide timely updates to clients, and use Origna8’s technology platform to manage pipelines and support an efficient, customer-focused experience.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Mortgage Lending and Loans, including knowledge of various loan products and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in Loan Origination, with a track record of managing complete loan files from application to closing.
• Understanding of Underwriting principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with underwriting teams.
• Solid foundation in Finance, including the ability to analyze credit, income, assets, and debt-to-income ratios.
• Relevant state licensing as a Mortgage Loan Originator (or eligibility to obtain required licenses promptly).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Proficiency with mortgage LOS systems and digital tools; comfort working in a technology-forward environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
• Prior experience in residential mortgage or related financial services is preferred.
