Job summary

Greenfield Banking Company is seeking a Mortgage Loan Operations Specialist. This entry level role supports the entire mortgage workflow, from loan opening through investor delivery and post-closing review, in Greenfield or nearby Fishers.

You will enter data accurately, help coordinate closings, verify terms and fees, and assist with compliance and reporting. A high school diploma and basic mortgage knowledge are expected, with opportunities to grow within processing, closing or underwriting

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Basic knowledge of commercial, real estate and consumer mortgage loan processing preferred.
Interest in mortgage processing and terminology helpful.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business materials.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

Ensure accurate and timely loan data entry.
Assist with mortgage rate administration, loan modifications, and document preparation.
Order and track appraisals, title work, and verifications.
Monitor files to ensure deadlines are met.
Maintain electronic loan files and document retention.
Assist with audits, quality control, and regulatory examinations.
Coordinate closing with settlement parties and deliver loans to investors.
Verify loan terms, title, insurance and fees.
Review closing packages and fundings.
Support process improvements requested by management.
Perform safety and compliance duties as required.
