Job summary

Regions seeks a Mortgage Loan Officer to originate residential mortgage loans through a branch network in Gulfport, Mississippi. You will complete applications, evaluate requests, maintain contact with customers and ensure compliance with lending practices.

Responsibilities include soliciting new business with referral partners, answering customer calls, cross-selling bank products, and meeting regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of mortgage lending experience with proven production.
• Experience developing external business via referral partners.

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to loan processing and underwriting.
• Evaluates loan requests, analyzes financial data, and assesses collateral/credit history.
• Maintains contact with loan customers and communicates progress.
• Structures loans to comply with lending practices and regulations.
• Markets loan products and develops relationships with potential customers and referral partners.
• Cross-sells other bank products and services.
