Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year mortgage lending experience with proven production.
• Abundant mortgage experience developing external business via referrals from realtors, builders, and financial planners

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to loan processing and underwriting.
• Evaluates loan requests, analyzes financial data, and determines collateral and credit history.
• Maintains contact with loan customers, communicating progress and requesting documents.
• Structures loans to comply with lending practices and regulations.
• Establishes detailed marketing plans with referral partners and potential customers.
• Answers customer calls and walk-ins to discuss loan products and qualification information.
• Makes sales calls to develop new business or retain existing clients.
• Cross-sells other bank products and services.
• Reads surveys and appraisals and addresses issues.
• Participates in networking to promote loan products
