Job summary

WSFS Bank in Delaware is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to originate residential mortgage loans in the Delaware area. You will solicit loans through your referral network and present mortgage programs to individuals and professional organizations.

You will interview applicants, analyze data, and guide customers from application through closing while staying current on market trends and regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must have minimum three years of experience marketing and originating residential mortgage loans and loan products.
• Must have effective proven sales skills.
• Must have excellent time management skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be willing and able to travel to assigned branch locations and present to groups.
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must have superior customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Proficiency with mortgage origination software programs is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to customers seeking residential mortgage loans.
• Interview applicants to acquire information about financial situation and property data.
• Ensure the customer understands the loan process from application to closing.
• Stay informed of trends in the local real estate market and regulatory changes.
