Job summary
West Capital Lending is seeking a proactive Loan Officer Assistant to support a high-volume loan officer team from application through closing. This role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and exceptional client experience in a fast-paced environment.
You will collect and organize borrower documentation, communicate with borrowers, lenders, and real estate agents, and help manage pipelines, disclosures, and follow-up communications to ensure smooth closings.
Qualifications
- Previous mortgage or financial services experience preferred.
- Familiarity with mortgage documents, underwriting conditions, and lending guidelines is a plus.
- Experience with loan origination software (Encompass, Calyx, Arrive, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Responsibilities
- Support Loan Officer throughout the loan origination process
- Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation (income, assets, credit, etc.)
- Communicate with borrowers, lenders, real estate agents, and internal team members
- Assist in managing pipelines, disclosures, and follow-up communication
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance, and professionalism
