West Capital Lending, based in Dearborn, MI, seeks a proactive Loan Officer Assistant to support a high-volume loan officer team from application through closing. You will handle client communications, organize files, and ensure smooth disclosures and timely processing.

The role emphasizes strong organization, clear communication, and independent work. Experience in mortgage services or with loan origination software is a plus, and you’ll join a collaborative, growth-minded brokerage committed

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to clients and realtors.

We are seeking a Loan Officer Assistant who is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting a high-volume loan officer team. This role is essential to ensuring a smooth client experience from application through closing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls.
• Schedule Appointments.
• Take Zoom calls with realtors to network .
• Set up and structure new files/applications.
• Collect and organize borrower docs.
• Walk clients through disclosures and submissions.
• Stay on top of conditions and work with processing/underwriting to keep files moving.

• Previous mortgage or financial services experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple files at once
• Familiarity with mortgage documents, underwriting conditions, and lending guidelines is a plus
• Experience with loan origination software (Encompass, Calyx, Arrive, etc.) is a plus
