Responsibilities:

1. Solicit first mortgage loans by engaging with clients and informing them of underwriting guidelines and regulations.
2. Assist loan applicants with completing applications and disclosures.
3. Prepare and process loan applications, including initial disclosures and Loan Estimates.
4. Enter data into the computer system and order credit reports as needed.
5. Answer calls, schedule appointments, and follow up with borrowers and agents.
6. Communicate complex approval or denial decisions to borrowers and agents.
7. Respond to inquiries regarding loan status.
8. Maintain compliance with all regulatory and security policies.
9. Participate in local business development activities.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Two to four years of related mortgage or sales experience.
• Knowledge of real estate documentation, policies, and compliance.
• Proficiency with mortgage processing and underwriting systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
