Job summary

The Platz Group in Boise, ID is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer who wants more than a desk and a comp plan. This is a partnership opportunity designed for a producing MLO who wants control, influence, and upside, and who can become the primary lender for a strong real estate sales team.

You will originate and close loans, grow and lead a branch, and build long-term relationships with agents, builders, and partners.

Qualifications

• Must have prior Mortgage Loan Officer experience.
• Verifiable closed loan volume from recent production.
• Active or eligible NMLS license.
• Strong understanding of purchase transactions (not just refinances).
• Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to build something meaningful.
• High integrity, strong communication skills, and team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Originate and close residential mortgages with speed and quality.
• Serve as the primary mortgage partner for our real estate team’s leads.
• Collaborate with agents to pre-approve and close buyers.
• Build and lead a branch or production pod over time.
• Maintain referral relationships with agents, builders, and partners.
• Deliver a best‑in‑class borrower experience from pre‑approval to closing.
