Job summary

Helton Real Estate Group in Texas seeks an experienced mortgage loan officer to assist clients in securing optimal home loans and to grow a strong client book. You will leverage marketing, communication, and analysis skills to deliver top-tier service for homebuyers.

You will collaborate with realtors, processors, and underwriters to guide borrowers through the mortgage process, monitor compliance, and maintain a healthy pipeline.

Qualifications

• Maintain current registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System Registry.
• Several years of experience in real estate, mortgage origination, or lending.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with loan products and loan origination software such as Encompass.
• Knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, fixed/adjustable, and non-conforming loans.

Responsibilities

• Counsel borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine which is best for them.
• Interface with realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction while overseeing all customer interactions.
• Monitor the mortgage process to ensure all company and regulatory processes are adhered to.
• Maintain and build relationships through networking and prospecting with bankers, realtors, builders, and your community to attract new business.
• Manage a large pipeline of loans to ensure your production meets our requirements.

Compensation
