Job summary

Queensborough-National-Bank- is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant to support the sales process and maintain excellent communication with internal and external customers. The role reports to Mortgage Loan Officers and possibly Senior Management.

Responsibilities include notifying borrowers of required documentation, preparing documents (in person or via DocuSign), organizing files, ordering appraisals, gathering insurance and payoff information, and assisting with marketing activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher in Business Administration.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an office environment.
• Knowledge of basic financials and tax returns preferred.

Responsibilities

• Notify borrowers of required documentation for mortgage processing.
• Prepare client documents in person or via DocuSign.
• Organize files for processing.
• Order appraisals for Conventional, FHA, USDA.
• Gather homeowners insurance and payoff information.
• Assist processor in collecting missing files.
• Collect first payments from clients.
• Check mortgage messages and return calls.
• Assist with marketing activities including event preparation and management.
