Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is hiring a Mortgage Loan Consultant in Massachusetts. You will originate mortgage loans, build relationships with realtors and referral sources, and ensure a superior customer experience from application to closing.

You will educate clients on loan programs, maintain regulatory compliance, and work with underwriting, processing, and closing teams to fund loans on time. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.
• Specialized banking and lending education and training.
• Valid driver license.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Grow your pipeline by networking with realtors, builders, financial planners, and other referral sources.
• Close more deals through consultative needs-based analysis from application to closing.
• Be the go-to expert on loan programs, underwriting guidelines, and market trends.
• Deliver white-glove service with in-office or on-site consultations for a seamless borrowing experience.
• Maximize cross-selling of banking services including deposits, business banking, insurance, and wealth management.
• Own the loan application lifecycle by coordinating with underwriting, processing, and closing teams.
• Stay ahead of market trends and regulatory updates to position yourself as a trusted mortgage advisor.
• Represent the bank at local events to build brand awareness and community presence.
• Drive compliance with federal and state mortgage regulations and maintain professional ethics.
