Job summary

LoanPeople, headquartered in Austin, TX, seeks a full-time Loan Officer to sell mortgage loan products to residential clients. You will manage your schedule, gather documentation, analyze financial statements, and advise clients on loan options. Reports to Branch Manager and works in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Detail oriented and organized with multitasking ability.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Be organized and manage own schedule
• Be accessible to clients and team members and return calls same day
• Solicit required documentation from applicants
• Accurately analyze complex financial statements
• Advise and recommend to clients regarding various mortgage loan products based on their individual circumstances
• Review interest rates as needed and lock all loans with borrowers in accordance with secondary marketing pricing and rate lock policies and procedures
• Build rapport and maintain open lines of communication with prospective/current clients, builders, realtors, and title agents and provide outstanding customer service
• Provide prequalification letters in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Meet or exceed established sales goals as determined by branch manager
• Participate in weekly pipeline meetings with processors
• Assist loan processing and closing departments to facilitate accurate and expeditious processing and closing of loans
