Job summary

Liberty FCU in the Sarasota/Bradenton, FL area is seeking a Mortgage Lending Sales Manager to lead and grow our mortgage sales team. This producing manager role requires significant origination experience and proven leadership to drive volume and member satisfaction.

You will guide a team, forecast production, and partner with the RVP of Mortgage Sales to implement growth strategies while maintaining regulatory compliance and excellent member service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of mortgage loan origination experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role leading a sales team.
• NMLS license and continuing education required.
• Working knowledge of conventional and government loan programs.
• Experience with LOS, CRM, UW and other software to maximize borrower experience.
• Excellent time management and verbal/written communication skills.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Support and grow mortgage volume with the RVP of Mortgage Sales.
• Recruit and assist in hiring to build the team.
• Mentor, lead, and coach the sales team to meet sales goals.
• Join in joint sales calls; assist in loan structuring as needed.
• Forecast monthly/annual production volumes with the RVP.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve production goals.
• Resolve member problems and concerns with efficiency.
• Represent Liberty FCU at external functions to build new business.
• Prepare and submit applicable loan reports.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Provide exceptional member service.
