Job summary

Create Credit Union in Las Vegas is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to develop and maintain relationships with business referral sources and Create CU members, while identifying new mortgage lending opportunities.

You will meet with customers through various stages of the loan process, stay informed on mortgage products, review credit data for borrower eligibility, and ensure licensing compliance with NMLS.

• Ensure compliance with NMLS licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with business referral sources, existing and prospective Create CU members.
• Prospect new mortgage lending opportunities to expand the credit union's reach and customer base.
• Meet with customers as necessary during various stages of the loan process to provide guidance and support.
• Utilize Create CU training to stay informed about the latest mortgage products and industry trends.
• Review and analyze credit and financial data to assess borrower eligibility and risk.
• Ensure compliance with State-Non Depository Mortgage Loan Originator licensing requirements through the NMLS.
