AmeriSave Mortgage Corporation is seeking Jr. Underwriters to join our winning team. In this role, you will assist in testing and evaluating system enhancements that will drive the expeditious movement of mortgage loan files from sales through closing. This is an exciting opportunity to make an immediate impact on the growth and success of our business.

This is a remote opportunity to work from home. Remote work applicants may not work from the following states: California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or prior mortgage employment history.
• Desire to learn and grow within a rapidly changing industry.
• Positive attitude and a tremendous work ethic.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and demonstrates excellent decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technology to innovate the mortgage process.

• Gather documents from third parties such as insurance and Title documentation.
• Utilize AUSSIE, Amerisave’s automated rules engine, and company procedures.

High-speed internet required for remote work, Cable or Fiber ONLY with the ability to connect via Ethernet. Minimum speeds: 70/30 Mbps (basic), 200-300/35-70 Mbps (shared), 500-1,000/100+ Mbps (heavy use).

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is $15 per hour (or greater only if your state of residency requires so)plus bonusper month based upon individual performance. Target annual compensation for this position is $35,000 to $50,000.
