The role involves counseling clients, preparing applications, obtaining documentation, and ensuring disclosures are provided promptly; analyzing financials to approve loans within authority; building relationships with realtors and builders.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma.
• 2+ years of mortgage lending or operations experience.
• Previous sales experience preferred.
• NMLS registration must be current per SAFE Act.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers regarding borrowing needs and gather documents.
• Make verbal and written commitments on behalf of the Bank.
• Prepare mortgage loan applications and disclosures within deadlines.
• Analyze financial and credit data to underwrite and recommend approvals.
• Develop relationships with realtors, builders, and referral sources.
• Cross-sell other bank products to clients.
