Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a Mortgage Loan Consultant for its Retail Banking Team to originate mortgages in line with bank policies, investor and regulatory guidelines, delivering superior service.

You will develop strong ties with area realtors and referral sources to grow mortgage business and cross-sell banking services. The role requires solid sales experience, 3+ years in financial services, NMLS registration, and a commitment to regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; HS diploma or GED required.
• NMLS registration required by SAFE Act.
• Valid driver license and age 18+ are required.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans to meet production goals.
• Develop real estate referrals by contacting realtors and other sources.
• Explain loan programs and underwriting guidelines to clients.
