Job summary

NVR Mortgage Summer Internship provides hands-on exposure to the mortgage process for Ryan Homes, NVHomes, or Heartland Homes customers. You’ll work with mortgage professionals on pre-qualification, processing, and settlements while learning regulatory aspects of the industry.

Current college students (within 12 months of graduation preferred) who are highly driven, with strong communication and leadership potential, will fit well. A valid driver’s license and US work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college degree program (scheduled to graduate within 12 months of the internship is preferred).
• Highly driven and self-motivated with leadership experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Current Driver’s License is required.
• Students from all degree majors are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist mortgage professionals as they pre-qualify prospective home buyers and discuss financing options.
• Support customers from initial application to settlement date in a competitive market.
• Gain experience in processing and obtaining mortgage approval and conducting closings.
• Learn about the homebuilding industry that NVR Mortgage supports.
• Collaborate with sales and production teams to understand delivering a customer’s dream home.
