Job summary

The NVR Mortgage Summer Internship program offers hands-on experience in all aspects of the mortgage process for our Ryan Homes, NVHomes or Heartland Homes customers. You will work alongside mortgage professionals to pre-qualify prospective buyers and discuss competitive financing options.

You will learn to guide customers from application to settlement, gain experience in processing, underwriting and mortgage closings, and understand the regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in college degree program (preferred if graduation within 12 months).
• Highly driven & self-motivated with leadership experience.
• Strong communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Current Driver’s License.
• Students from all degree majors are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside mortgage professionals as they pre-qualify prospective home buyers and negotiate financing options.
• Guide customers from initial application to settlement in a competitive marketplace.
• Gain experience in processing and obtaining mortgage approval and conducting mortgage closings.
• Learn about the homebuilding industry that NVR Mortgage supports.
• Spend time with sales and production teams to see how teams deliver a customer's dream home.
