Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Business Analyst for Default Systems & Support in Texas to optimize default workflows, analyze system configurations, and implement solutions across Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Property Preservation, and Post-Foreclosure teams.

The role focuses on enhancing systems like Black Knight LoanSphere and Tableau, gathering business requirements, and delivering automation where possible. A technical background and mortgage experience are preferred for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in technical, quantitative, or analytical discipline preferred.
• 2+ years mortgage/default servicing experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with Excel, SQL, Tableau.
• BlackKnight LoanSphere experience a plus.
• Python programming experience preferred.
• Visio and process documentation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT and business partners to optimize system utilization.
• Create reports and assist business units with ad hoc data requests.
• Proactively analyze and identify system enhancements to streamline workflows.
• Manage a project list and prioritize with business unit management.
• Communicate detailed technical requirements to IT partners and non-technical staff.
• Develop process flows, job aids, and procedures for default processes.
• Lead automation enhancements for default workflows.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
