Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Business Analyst to support Default Systems & Support. The role focuses on optimizing workflows, reporting, and automation across foreclosure, bankruptcy, property preservation, and post-foreclosure processes.

You will work with IT and business units to gather requirements and implement solutions on Black Knight LoanSphere, Tableau, and related tools. Ideal candidates have a technical/quantitative degree and 2+ years in mortgage/default servicing, with strong

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in technical, quantitative, or analytical field preferred.
2+ years’ experience in mortgage or default servicing preferred.
Demonstrated analytical and business communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task under deadlines.
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Tableau; experience with Black Knight LoanSphere is a plus.
Fast learner with the ability to adopt new ideas quickly.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the business unit, IT partners, and internal departments to optimize system utilization.
Create reports and assist business units with ad hoc data.
Proactively analyze and identify system enhancements to streamline workflows and improve efficiencies.
Manage a project list, prioritize based on cost-benefit, and conduct prioritization meetings with management.
Create and communicate detailed technical requirements to IT partners and non-technical teams.
Develop process flows, job aids, and procedures for foreclosure, bankruptcy, property preservation, and post-foreclosure processes.
Act as a subject matter expert for system troubleshooting and oversight reporting; implement system enhancements.
Oversee ongoing automation enhancements of default workflow systems.
